Cancellations & Late Arrivals
To cancel or change an appointment please contact the clinic within 24 hours (1 business day) prior to the scheduled appointment. Charges amounting in the full cost of the missed appointment will be incurred otherwise. Voice mail is available 24 hrs/day by calling: (905) 693 3546.Late time is deducted from any treatment for patients more than 5 minutes late.
What To Expect
On your first visit, you will be asked to fill out a confidential health history. This information will help us form an assessment and decide how you should be positioned on the therapy table.
A therapeutic treatment should take place in an atmosphere of safety and confidence. Through a partnership between you and your therapist, we will help you understand the process behind your pain and how we can work together to alleviate it. Feel free to ask us about any concerns you may have.
You will not be asked to undrape yourself beyond your comfort zone, nor will you be asked to accept any treatment which has not been explained to you or which you do not choose to accept. If any other therapy is necessary you will be redirected appropriately.
At the end of your appointment, we may suggest home care such as: stretches, strengthening exercises, daily routine changes or hydrotherapy for you to do between appointments to facilitate healing.
